In March 2022, a pro-equality gender bill in Nigeria seeking more rights and autonomy for women including political participation was rejected by the Parliament, during a constitution review process. The African Press Club (TAPC) will host a Dialogue on the way forward on Sept 20, 2022, in Abuja, Nigeria. We look forward to sharing notes from this interaction.
